An exhibition by 3 budding artists with special challenges, they are Eng Sheng Khor, Kenny Tan and Siao Siang Looi.

From the start of humanity, men always had a special relationship with animals. There are many famous paintings painted over the course of history. This shows us how deep the bond between humans and animals is. May it be pets which are depicted in the painting or wild animals.

In addition, you can learn to express your creative talents on canvas bag with Peacock design from TER.

The Everyday Revolution (TER) is a social enterprise which recognises and celebrates the works of artists with special needs, particularly those with autism. We showcase their art as part of community-centric art events and through art inspired lifestyle products with the help of our team of designers and artists. Prints and Folly sells lovingly hand-drawn doodles on canvas tote bags and some other little hand-crafted goodies. We are all about spreading joy, fun, love – and let’s face it, some silliness – through the power of squiggly lines and cheery colours!

Olivia, who never outgrew doodling, is a self-confessed addict to stationery/pretty paper goods and hoarder of cuddly things. She started Prints & Folly selling lovingly hand-drawn doodles on canvas tote bags and some other little hand-crafted goodies.     Chu Wei

The theme of the artworks revolves around the elusive and yet innocent dimension of arts from the perspective of children. The cartoonish artworks represent the artist’s desire to harmonise art with its community and their environment.

Chu Wei started his journey in arts at a tender age of 6 with strong influence from Chinese Painting. Having graduated from RMIT with a degree in designing, he undertook numerous positions with a design house and eventually started his own retail business and established his own apparel brand.

  • Blow Ink Art

    Yishun Town Secondary

In this workshop, participants will be creating artworks by blowing ink onto the paper randomly through straws and using their imagination to create interesting artworks. This workshop helps to deepen the participants’ understanding of their surroundings as they link the random ink patches on the paper to things in daily life. They can turn their design into a card and give it to their loved ones. The giving of cards matches the theme as it helps to improve relationships between people and strengthen the bond between them.

Yishun Town Secondary School has a history of 28 years and was accorded Autonomous since 2010. Their vision is to be A School of Distinction, A Community of Leaders.¬ In their workshop, participants will create artworks by blowing ink onto paper to encourage understanding of their surroundings as they link the random ink patches on the paper to things in daily life.

    Northbrooks Secondary

Stained Glass Art has been a signature programme in Northbrooks curriculum since 2002. It provides an authentic platform for nurturing Habits of Mind such as “Persisting”, “Striving for Accuracy & Precision” and “Create, Imagine, Innovate”. There will be demonstrations and exhibitions of the artform and hands-on session for visitors.

Stained Glass Art has been a signature programme in theNorthbrooks curriculum since 2002. As an art form, it provides an authentic platform for nurturing Habits of Mind such as “Persisting”, “Striving for Accuracy & Precision” and “Create, Imagine, Innovate”. Students working in teams develop fortitude and resilience and learn to value each other’s strengths.
